Headworx - Comissioning

At the beginning of an industrial cycle there is in practice the first start-up. Therefore the new plant will be put into operation with all of your components.

In general, the initial startup can be divided into two sections.

Commissioning burners:

With extensive testing also in terms of security a variety of burner functions are tested. Along with the burner adjustments we test and adjust  the associated security components such as pressure and max. temperature switch. If appropriate, the interfaces for the visualization should also be tested with.

The settings for fuel and combustion air are carried out plus fixing the minimum and maximum burner capacities. From these values the regulating and operating range for the burner result.

After completing all this work, the burner is ready, so that the actual production can be approached.

Optimization of production and support:

During the start-up of production, the system conditions are set under which the burner must work.

It should be noted that this system conditions may depend on the overall system, the operation of the plant and potentially by each production cycle and product.

These diverse conditions (worst-case conditions) are compulsory being operated in the second phase of startup to check how these cases effect the functionallity.

If necessary, readjusting can be required.

If, due to lack of time, the second section of the production optimization and production support is shortened this may often result in functional problems. This can limit the functionality, whether lead to false process temperature or even burner misconduct or damage.

Our goal is to fully complete together with the plant engineers and plant operators commissioning and hand over a secure and reliable burner system.
