The EN 746 Part 2 defines the criteria governing the construction and operation of thermal processing plants. In industrial practice, there are a wide variety of solutions, some of which are for many decades.

 

The requirements for production facilities were often out continuously increased over the years in order to meet the quality requirements of the product itself and the flexible production requirements.
