Equipment Audits: Compliance to EN 746 Part 2

The EN 746 Part 2 defines the safety requirements for burners and fuel handling systems that are part of Industrial Thermoprocessing Equipment (IThE). The following services are offered to Operators of Thermal processing Equipment to check their equipment and applications and if necessary to execute upgrades of the equipment to comply to the current rules and regulations.

  • Inspection of the thermal processing plant, consisting of:

            - Recording of the actual situation based on available documentation

            - Recording of the components applied and their function on site

            - Target-matching with the regulations of EN 746 Part 2

            - Creation of a safety status report of the Thermoprocessing Equipment followed by a list of

              deviations and shortcomings

(The inspection can be executed without interruption or disruption of your production process)

  • Safety Scan of the Thermoprocessing plant, consisting of:

             - security testing of the burner, safety and control components in connection with the entire

               system

( as described in detail below )

             - all relevant security and safety components are individually tested on function

             - system errors and misconducts are simulated plus checking the disturbance response as well

               as the safety shutdown

            - creation of a safety report with a list of deviations and gaps

(the safety inspection can only be operated by shutting down of the production process )
